FACES is funded solely by private donations and targeted fundraising efforts. FACES holds two main fundraising events a year.
Proceeds from all our fundraisers enable FACES to keep our support groups and community education meetings free and open to the public. Funds also aid our efforts with the Chesterfield Suicide Awareness and Prevention Coalition, a group of mental health organizations from Chesterfield County that formed in 2015 to collaborate on suicide prevention efforts in Chesterfield County. Our presentation, “Raise Your Voice About Suicide Awareness and Prevention” is a one hour PowerPoint that outlines how to recognize someone in crisis, how to help them and information about local mental health organizations.
