FACES is hosting the Chesterfield Suicide Awareness and Prevention Coalition “The Coalition” will present “Raise Your Voice”, an original presentation that brings insight into recognizing the signs of someone who may be considering suicide and what to do when someone needs help.  “Raise Your Voice” also covers protective measures.

Our Community Education Meeting begins at 7pm and ends at 8:30pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at FACES House, 11601 Lucks Lane, Midlothian, VA 23112.

The Chesterfield Suicide Awareness and Prevention Coalition was founded in 2015 by Chesterfield Mental Health and FACES.  it is comprised of mental health organizations Chesterfield Mental Health, FACES, Chesterfield County Public Schools, Chesterfield Social Services, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, NAMI, Tuckers Pavilion, John Randolph Medical Center, Beacon Tree Foundation and associate members Full Circle, Side By Side, Morrissett Compassionate Care and others.  The Coalition’s goal is to take our message of suicide awareness and prevention to as many people as possible through collaborative educational projects.
